Ready To Fish Gill Nets
Lead and Float Types
Multifilament

These multifilament nets will always stay soft and limp for best catching while providing extra strength and durability. We can supply both SINKING and FLOATING styles. Floating style nets have lead weights at only those ties directly beneath the float. The sinking style is the most popular and will be shipped unless otherwise specified. Standard Construction:

  • White twisted multifilament.
  • No. 6 Braided Polypropylene lines, top and bottom.
  • No.125 plastic floats tied approximately every 5'.
  • One ounce leads tied at every bottom tie (every other tie for 8" tie widths).
  • No. 9 nylon seine twine is used for hanging.
Prices for nets 100 yards long (300'), hung 1/2 basis (200 stretched yards of netting are used), are shown below. Other Gill Net Options can be found by clicking on the Options Links under each table. Tied-down nets with No. 12 drop lines on both sides at every float are also available (see options).
If you don't see the net you want call us. Sterling will give you a price on any size net.
