Q:
My browser crashes when I try and use the "Power Search"
feature, why? |
| |
A:
The Sterling Power Search Feature utilizes a Java Applet.
This should work with all browsers on the market today. However,
some older versions of Netscape Navigator contain a programming
bug that causes the browser to "crash" when trying
to run a Java Applet. If this has happened with you, we're
sorry for the inconvenience and highly recommend that you
update your browsing software to Netscape's latest release

Q:
How is this site laid out? |
| |
A:
The Sterling Web Site is arranged by product catagory in a
menu on the left of every screen. Clicking on a product header
will bring up the index of our items in that catagory. After
viewing the item of your choice, you can click on the highlighted
product header bar to return to its index or use your browser's
"back" button. |

Q:
I clicked on a pricing table link, but nothing happened. |
| |
A: www.sterlingnets.com
uses JavaScript extensively to enhance user inter activity.
When you click on a pricing table link, your browser will
open a new window that will load the information. Depending
upon your Internet connection speed, it may take a few seconds
to load the information.
If the
pricing table still doesn't load, your JavaScript option
may not be enabled in your browser. Netscape Navigator users
click on "Edit" / "Preferences." This
will bring up your browser preferences. Highlight "Advanced."
Your advanced options will appear in the right of the box.
Put a check next to "Enable JavaScript." Click
"OK" and reload - that's it!
