Sliding Net Installation |
|
| |
|
| |
Presented
below is a sketch of how a barrier net (baseball and / or
golf) may be erected for a given distance and height. A ladder
or lift bucket will have to be used to snap the net on and
off. This allows the net to be taken down when not in use. |

1.
Sliding Net Support Sources - These two structures
will be the main supports for the sliding net assembly. Example
supports are steel poles, trees, corner of building, or two
inside walls.
2. Turnbuckle Attachments
(one at each end) - The turnbuckle attachment allows easy
connection of the cable to the support sources (included with
A48901 Cable System).
3. A48901 Cable System
- comes complete with aircraft cabling cut to your length
specification, 2 turnbuckles for attachment at each end, 2
cable clamps to secure the cable and sufficient spring snaps
to install the net.
4. Spring Snaps or
Attachment Rings (zoom view) - these are used across the
net and allow the net to slide to either side with minimal
friction. This allows the net to slide open for use and then
slide to one side for storage, exactly like a shower curtain. |
