Two
cable systems needed for cages 10' wide or less. Three cable
systems recommended for cages 12' wide or more to prevent
sagging in center. |

Cage
net is suspended on two or three parallel cables depending
on the cage width. The end of the cable has a hook for attachment
to a wall mounted bracket. The other end of the cable passes
through a pulley and down to a take up winch. Winches control
the tension of the cables. The net is suspended from the cables
and, when not in use, can be temporarily stored, sliding like
a shower curtain to either end of the room. In this type of
storage the cables are stretched across the gym. |
| |
|
Features:
- Simple
to install.
- Tension
can be quickly adjusted.
- Net
can slide to either side for storage, similar to
a shower curtain.
- Clear
floor usage, cable does not interfere with floor
activities.
- Net
can be attached when cable tension is lowered to
floor height. Tension increases as net is raised
to operational position.
- When
net is stored on side of winches, cables can be
unhooked, cranked back and stored away so gym area
is completely clear.
|
Storage:
- Net
is stored only on the pulley side.
- Cables
slacked off.
- Hooks
unhooked.
- Cable
is cranked completely on the winch except for the
last 10'-12'.
- Left
cable is then attached to right pulley and vice
versa, thereby supporting the net against the wall.
